Rust is a multiplayer survival game set on a procedurally generated island where danger can come from wildlife, the environment, or other players. Starting with little more than a rock and torch, players gather resources, craft equipment and weapons, build fortified bases, and form alliances or battle rival groups. Servers operate as persistent worlds that periodically reset through scheduled wipes.
